Iraq announces killing of two top officers in Turkish bombing

The Iraqi Security Media Cell announced, on Tuesday, that a commander of a brigade and a regiment had been killed by Turkish bombing in the Sayidakan area.

The cell stated in a statement published by Al-Sumaria News that "a Turkish attack was carried out by a drone that targeted a military vehicle of border guards in the Sayidakan area."

It added, "The bombing caused the martyrdom of the commander of the Second Brigade, Border Guard of the First District, and the command of the Third Regiment / Second Brigade and the vehicle driver."
