Iraq handed over 188 children to Turkey

The Iraqi Central Court of Investigation has announced hand over of 188 Turkish children of Daesh in the presence of representatives of the Iraqi and Turkish governments and international organizations.

"The Central Court of Investigation, which is responsible for the issue of terrorism and foreign accused, has handed over to the Turkish side 188 children in Iraq," Judge Abdul Sattar Birqdar, spokesman of the Supreme Judicial Council, said in a press release.

"Of these, only a few adults were convicted on charges of exceeding the limits and the expiration of the period of stay and the end of their sentence."

"This process took place under the supervision of the judiciary, which accompanied them until the plane ride that takes them home."
