ISF: suicide bomber behind Manbij bombing, one martyr and 10 injured

The Internal Security Forces (ISF) in Manbij explained that the explosion that took place today in the city was caused by suicide bomber that resulted in the death of a member of the Internal Security Forces and injuring 10 people, including 3 children.

The media center of the Internal Security Forces in the city of Manbij and its countryside issued a statement regarding the explosion that occurred on Thursday evening north of the city.

The statement pointed out that at exactly 16:05 on Thursday evening, a car bomb exploded by a suicide bomber in front of the center of the Internal Security Forces, located northeast of the city.

The statement pointed out that their forces rushed to the scene of the explosion with ambulances and firefighters to put out the fire and transfer the injured to the hospitals. After investigation, it turned out that the explosion led to the death of a member of the Internal Security Forces, and 10 civilians and military, including 3 children were wounded as they passed through the street.

At the end of its statement, the Internal Security Forces appealed to all citizens to report any suspicious movement or body suspected of involvement in maintaining the security and safety of their city.
