Joint helicopter patrols on the border of Serê Kaniyê

US and Turkish helicopter patrols on Friday took part in a joint patrol on the border strip adjacent to the Serê Kaniyê area of ​​Hasaka cantons, as part of the agreement on the border security mechanism.

In order to continue to apply the agreed provisions regarding the security mechanism at the border, a joint air patrol of US and Turkish helicopters came out today on the border strip of a Syrian area in northern Syria.

According to our correspondent, the patrol included four helicopters, two for the US forces and two for Turkey. Recently, in conjunction with the withdrawal of the Syrian Democratic Forces and the People’s Protection Units (YPG), the Women’s Protection Units (YPJ) and their heavy weapons from the border area.

It is noteworthy that the US forces and the border security forces of the Serê Kaniyê Military Council, this month came out with two joint patrols with Turkish patrols in the border area within the border security agreement.
