On May 2, the Kurdish activist, Azime Arsun, was arrested by the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) forces before leaving Hewler International Airport for treatment.
Azime Arsun is from the Kurdish city of Shirnakh, and has been working for many years in the service of the Kurdish cause, and suffers from chronic diseases, as she was heading to Europe for treatment, but before leaving the airport, she was arrested by the Kurdistan Democratic Party forces.
Yesterday, the Foreign Relations Committee of the Kurdistan Community Union called on the Kurdish public opinion and all women's organizations to prevent the KDP from handing over the activist to the Turkish occupation state.
