Kobani people reject Turkish occupation on borders

The people of Kobani canton on the borders who stand as human shield against the Turkish occupation army said that they will not let the Turkish occupation to occupy the areas as it did in Afrin and said that they will continue the struggle and maintain the gains achieved thanks to the martyrs' blood.

Human shields continue on its eighth day in the village of Qara Mugh, east of the city of Kobani on the Syrian-Turkish border, denouncing the threats of the Turkish state towards the region.

Hundreds of Kobani people living on the border are taking part in the activities of the human shields to confirm their rejection of the Turkish threats .

Ahmad Ahmed, one of the participants in the event, said that "no one can take us out of our land and we will not allow the Turkish occupation to enter our areas as it did in Afrin."

Ahmed stressed that the Turkish state is striving to create conflict among the peoples of the region.

For his part, member of the Democratic Union Party, Ahmed Khoja called on the international community and the United Nations to put an end to the Turkish threats and attempts to occupy the region.
