Kobani's intellectuals: Isolation imposed on leader Ocalan is contrary to international laws

 A number of Kobani's intellectuals condemned the isolation imposed on the leader Ocalan saying that it is contrary to the international laws and contracts and asserting that the freedom of the leader is the first step to solve the problems in the region.

The Turkish authorities impose strict isolation on the leader Ocalan since 2015 preventing the lawyers and the leader's family to meet him, although the latest meetings, but the isolation continues where the authorities always delay the meetings with him.

On this issue, the member of Union of the Intellectuals in Kobani canton Masoud Miran said, " the Turkish occupation practices and the isolation imposed on the leader is against consolidating the peace in the region."

" The Turkish policy towards the leader Ocalan is contrary to the international laws, the human right organization must intervene and put an end to Turkey, " he added.

He concluded by saying that the Turkish occupation impose the isolation on the leader to limit his important role in solving the problems in the region and that his freedom is the first step to end the disputes, commending the leader's role and his struggle in consolidating the peace in the region. 

The Intellectuals' Union's Co-Chair in Kobani Canton Lela Abedo said the Turkish occupation does not want the peace to be consolidating on the region and refuses the democracy and the co-existence so that it impose the isolation.

She said that the people in Rojava through the leader's struggle managed consolidate the peace in the region asserting that Turkey by imposing the isolation on the leader tries to isolate the leader's thought and philosophy.

She concluded by saying that Turkey state can't prevent the leader's thoughts, we all have to support him and unit to end this isolation, because the leader want to consolidate the peace and refuse the war, and Turkey by pursuing this hostile policy promotes the war.
