Kurdish parties in northern, eastern Syria visit headquarters of Freedom Movement

A delegation of Kurdish parties of  northern and eastern Syria visited the headquarters of the Kurdistan Society Freedom Movement in Sulaymaniyah. Officials in the movement expressed their concerns about the attacks of the Turkish occupation against the territory of southern Kurdistan.

As part of its tour in southern Kurdistan, a delegation of political parties in northern and eastern Syria visited the headquarters of the Kurdistan Society Freedom Movement in the city of Sulaymaniyah.

The delegation was received by the co-chair of the Kurdistan Society Freedom Movement Mohammed Abdullah.

"We discussed during the meeting the mechanisms of protecting the achievements of Rojava, as important gains for the entire Kurdish people, and the south of Kurdistan is going through at an important stage, and the debate was discussed on ways to reach a common vision on these issues," said the co-chair of the Democratic Union Party Shahuz Hassan.

In reference to the attacks of the Turkish occupation against the areas of southern Kurdistan, Hassan said, "the Turkish occupation state launched colonial attacks against the territory of southern Kurdistan, so it is important that the Kurds have a common position and unified against the Turkish occupation."

 The co-chair of the Kurdistan Society Freedom Movement, Mohammed Abdullah "On the one hand, there are attacks on southern Kurdistan and on the other hand, the crops of the people in Rojava are burning, they are trying to starve the Kurdish people. In our opinion, this is what is happening in Kurdistan," he said.

A delegation of Kurdish parties in northern and eastern Syria has been visiting South Kurdistan since 12 June. The delegation visited a number of Kurdish political parties there.
