The Kurdish parties and blocs in Rojava are going to hold a conference of Kurdish parties and blocs in northern and eastern Syria, in response to the initiative of the Kurdistan National Congress - Rojava, which was launched on January 1 and joined by 28 parties, in order to form a Kurdish political reference.
Kovan Kano, secretary of the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria, said: "All Kurdish parties, without exception, must join the upcoming conference to form a political reference, to be able to meet the requirements of the Kurds in Syria in the future, and be able to respond to Turkish threats to end the presence of the Kurdish people on its territory.
Kano stressed the need to join the Kurdish parties after the invitation of the Kurdistan National Congress to the Kurdish conference. He said: "The Progressive Party and the parties of the Kurdish National Council and the Unity Party to join the conference which will be held, and sit with the rest of the Kurdish parties to discuss the Kurdish issue and the establishment of an appropriate mechanism to form a political reference Kurdish."
Kovan Kano stressed that the formation of a Kurdish political reference will lead the Kurdish people to safety through their representation in international forums, and said: "The unification of the Kurdish rank is a step towards the liberation of Afrin from the Turkish occupation."
It is noteworthy that the preparatory committee assigned by the parties and blocs of the initiative of the Kurdistan Conference continues in the preparations for the conference to unite the Kurdish ranks in the coming period.
