Leader of Turkish mercenaries killed in occupied Girê Spî

One of the leaders of the Turkish occupation mercenaries, the so-called "Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya", was killed in the occupied Girê Spî canton.

A local source from the countryside of the occupied Girê Spî canton reported that the leader of the mercenaries of the "Al-Jabha Al-Shamiya" of the Turkish occupation, Mahmoud Yassin Al-Atiri was killed last night.

According to the source, the mercenary, Mahmoud Yassin Al-Atiri  was killed after being shot by unknown persons, while he was driving his car on the road linking the village of Khirbet Al-Raz and Al-Jadlah in the southern countryside of the province - 10 kilometers from the center of the occupied province.

In October 2019, Turkey and its mercenaries occupied a large part of Girê Spî canton.

Turkish-held areas in Syria are witnessing continuous clashes between mercenaries such as killings, looting and kidnappings.
