Mercenaries of "National Army" are preparing to depart from Afrin to Azerbaijan

Special sources confirmed preparations are underway in the ranks of the so-called "national army" of the Turkish occupation in Afrin, similar to Idlib, to send mercenaries to Azerbaijan within the framework of Turkey sending support to the Azerbaijani army in its war against Armenia.

Sources, which declined to be identified for security reasons, pointed out on Thursday that dozens of mercenaries in the ranks of the so-called "national army" deployed in the territories occupied by Turkey, are preparing to send mercenaries from Afrin and Idlib towards the Turkish lands, then they wil be sent to Azerbaijan.

Turkey seeks to engage Syrian mercenaries and Turkish soldiers in the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, similar to Libya, to which Turkey transferred 15 thousand Syrian mercenaries, according to statistics circulated by international sites and newspapers, nearly 500 of whom were killed according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

According to the source, the equipped mercenaries, whose names were written in offices scattered in Afrin and Idlib, will be sent after the blessed Eid Al-Adha to Turkish territory and then to Azerbaijan, for $ 5,000 per mercenary.

This comes after Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar announced that "Turkey will stand with Azerbaijan in its war against Armenia", while the ministry confirmed the arrival of Turkish officers and soldiers to the Azerbaijani lands.

Azerbaijan and Armenia have been locked in a conflict since the 1990s, to tighten control over the Karabakh mountains that lie between the two countries, while the intensity of the battles sometimes escalates to include other contact areas, as Azerbaijan announced that the number of its soldiers who had been killed had reached 4, and 5 others were wounded, while the army confirmed an Armenian killed one of its soldiers in the region.
