Mine repository of Daesh remnants found in al-Raqqa

Today, Roj  Demining Organization (Ramco) found a warehouse for improvised explosive devices (IED) and mortars in the Haramiya neighborhood of the city of al-Raqqa.

According to the media center of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), the warehouse was found after receiving information from the locals of strange objects in the neighborhood, believed to be explosives.

After examining the place, it turned out to be a repository of shells and mines belonging to Daesh mercenaries, and therefore the team dismantled a number of IEDs planted around the warehouse which were ready for detonation.

In this regard, the chief of the de-mining team, "Mustafa Saleh," noted the team began to examine the place and found a warehouse containing hundreds of IEDs and mortars of various sizes.

Saleh pointed out that they will dismantle IEDs to be destroyed later in coordination with al-Raqqa Civil Council.
