Missiles target an Iraqi base containing American forces

Today, an Iraqi security source stated that the Balad Air Base in Salah al-Din governorate was targeted with Katyusha rockets.

The source told Alsumaria News, “Three Katyusha rockets targeted the vicinity of the Balad base.”

He added, “The rockets landed on the outer squares of the base.”

He pointed out that “two employees working inside the base were wounded, one of them is an Iraqi and the second has not been identified yet.”

In turn, Sky News quoted Iraqi sources as saying that two missiles targeted the US military wing of “Sally Porter" company at Balad Air Force Base, and the third did not achieve the target.”

It is noteworthy that the Balad Air Base includes the international coalition forces, which are constantly exposed to armed attacks.
