More than 3,000 raid during 3 days, Erdogan chooses to disappear before the Istanbul elections

Al-Sharq al-Awsat: 3 thousand raids within 3 days on the Syrian "North Triangle"

On the Syrian issue, al-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper focused on the situation in the field, saying "the death toll of the air strikes on the area of al- Masstoma in the southern countryside of Idlib, north-west Syria rose to 25 people, including 8 children, and the battles are still ongoing between the Syrian regime forces and opposition factions, north of Hama, amid reports of three thousand raids during 3 days.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights pointed out that "During 72 hours, more than 3,000 air and ground strikes were carried out with the battles, resulted in the killing 205 people,and number of the elements of regime forces and factions were killed" north of Hama and south of Idlib.

With more casualties, the toll rises to 1,869, the number of people killed since the start of the most violent escalation in the "De- escalation" zone on April 30.

Al-Sharq al-Awsat: American diplomatic and security move on its top the Syria file

As for the meetings to be held during the coming period to discuss the Syrian situation, Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper published: "Washington will lead next week a diplomatic and security campaign that includes meetings in West Jerusalem, Paris and Brussels regarding the Syrian file oscillating between discussing the future of the East Euphrates region, the Iranian presence in Syria, the political process and the implementation of resolution 2,254.

According to information available to «Middle East», Paris will host a meeting of representatives of the "small group" of America, France, Britain, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Egypt on Monday with the possible participation of international envoy to Syria Geir -Pedersen and head of the Syrian negotiating body, Nasr Hariri.

A meeting of senior officials of the International Coalition against "Daesh" led by US will also be held in Paris on Tuesday and Wednesday to discuss the future of the liberated areas from "Daesh", east of Syria and western Iraq.

Jeffrey is also taking part in a NATO meeting in Brussels and a meeting of Western envoys in the Syrian dossier on Friday.
