The Damascus government forces have shelled the outskirts of the village of Bazabur in the southern countryside of Idlib, killing a mercenary and wounding a number of people, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Other areas of the southern countryside of Idlib were also subjected to missile strikes this morning, as the mercenaries of Al-Fateh Al-Mubin shelled the sites of the Damascus government forces in Al-Amaqiya in the Al-Ghab Plain, and axes in Jabal Al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib, while the latter targeted areas in Al-Fatira, Sufuhn, Binin, Al-Ruwaiha, the outskirts of Al-Bara and Falifel in the south of Idlib.
In this context, Russian warplanes carried out raids on Idlib, as the air strikes hit the vicinity of the town of Al-Bara in the southern countryside of Idlib.
The shelling came amid a continuous flight of Russian warplanes overhead, and this is the fourth time that Russian fighters have targeted Idlib since the beginning of 2021.
The Syrian Observatory published on February 13th, that a Russian warplane carried out raids with high-explosive missiles targeting the vicinity of Idlib Central Prison, west of Idlib, coinciding with the flight of a reconnaissance aircraft over the area's airspace.
