Nadine Menza criticizes her country's position on Erdogan's threats against NE Syria

The former head of the Freedom of Religion Committee, Nadine Menza, criticized her country's "lukewarm" response about Turkish threats against North and East Syria, and Washington's duplicity compared to its responses to the Russian military move in Ukraine.

Menza published a post on her Facebook page in which she talked about the Turkish threats to NE Syria, and said: "We arrived in NE Syria and were astonished to hear Erdogan might invade it again.

"How can an invasion that targets civilians with murder, rape and kidnapping be considered a war crime in Ukraine? But it's okay when Turkey does the same here in North and East Syria!" Nadine Menza asked.

A few days ago, the head of the Turkish occupation state, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, threatened to launch new attacks on NE Syria with aim of occupying areas and carrying out new ethnic cleansing and demographic changes.
