Yesterday, the Presidents of Russia, Iran, and Turkey held a video conference to discuss its interests and interventions in Syria. After the meeting ended, the three attributes issued a joint statement in which they affirmed their efforts to enhance coordination based on the agreements concluded within the Astana framework.
The statement considered the Israeli military attacks on Syria destabilizing and leading to increased tension, and condemned the "American administration's decision regarding the occupied Syrian Golan, which constitutes a flagrant violation of international law and constitutes a threat to regional peace and security."
According to the statement, the trio of deals occupying Syrian lands "reject any attempts to impose new facts on the ground in Syria under the pretext of fighting terrorism, including illegal initiatives on the declaration of autonomy-rule."
Besides, the statement pointed to the intention of the three-way dealers to "confront separatist designs", in an apparent reference to the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, which the three countries see as a stumbling block in implementing their plans to divide Syria and plunder the bounties of the Syrian people after their destruction and displacement of their people.
In this context, Syrian dissident and political analyst Ghiath Naissa commented on the final statement of the three countries in an interview with ANHA agency, and said: "This meeting can be included for the three influential and militarily interfering states in the Syrian situation in the context of the relations they have and developments in the facts. These meetings have formed Presidents culminate in an attempt to manage the conflict among themselves within Syria, as well as at the regional level, as it is a way to arrange their understandings that serve the interests of each of them. "
Naissa explained that this meeting comes in light of the worsening of the US sanctions on Iran, the adoption of the Caesar's Law with sanctions, and the increase of Israeli strikes on Iranian sites in Syria in an attempt to limit its military presence, as Israel claims.
contrary to what many expect, Caesar allows the revival of the Turkish economy
Regarding the section of the tripartite statement on Caesar 's law, Ghiath Naissa pointed out that the sanctions against Iran and the Caesar’s law that will increase the suffering of the Syrians more than increase the pressure on the regime, contrary to what many expect, will allow the revival of the Turkish economy that began to suffer from a worsening crisis years ago, because the state Turkish, which is a key member of NATO and a major ally of the United States, will take advantage of its geographical proximity to Iran and Syria to supply its goods that it will not find a competitor to in these two countries as a result of the sanctions and the embargo imposed on them.
The Syrian political analyst stated during his speech that Turkey exploits the American sanctions on Iraq and said: "We must remember how the Turkish economy benefited from the brutal blockade imposed by the United States on Iraq for more than twelve years in the nineties of the last century, what indicates this is what was stated in the statement The conclusion of this summit, where it announced its rejection of US sanctions.
A clear shared hostility to AA's project
Ghiath Naissa pointed out that the most important event of this meeting and what was issued in the closing statement, is that it is the first time that Russia, Iran and Turkey have expressed clearly and publicly their rejection and hostility to the project of the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria, and described the latter as separatist.
And he stated that this stated position does not bode well, and he added: "These countries, apart from their talk that there is no military solution in Syria, only denotes the aggressiveness and intent to attack our people in northern and eastern Syria, this clear tendency of the Astana Summit in its clear declaration of war on our people (in general) The Kurdish in particular) and AA's project accompanied by several indicators confirming it, including the well-known hostility of the Turkish state to the Kurdish people and their legitimate rights, from its ongoing aggression in the Kurdistan region of Iraq with Iran's participation in it, to the continuing attacks in northern Syria.
Because of the occupation practices and the guardianship of the three countries, the Syrian people are marginalized and far from the right to self-determination
The Syrian politician noted that the meeting put additional touches to what it sees as a "political solution" in Syria, based on keeping the regime, with some changes in its summit, and merging some "local agents" of the countries concerned in it and will be closer to "sectarian quotas", but what is certain is that The Syrian people and their democratic forces, due to the occupation and guardianship practices of these countries, are increasing their blockade and trying to marginalize them and distance them from their right to self-determination.
The Syrians have no solution but the AA's project
During his speech, Naissa touched on the solutions offered to the Syrian crisis at the moment and said: "In this turmoil, we have nothing left of the Syrians except the project of AA as a national project, and it has a social and democratic dimension, which the general democrats can rely on and develop to build a new society and political system, especially because of AA's project, and its political framework, the Council of the Democratic Syria, are likewise. The Astana Summit clearly put them in the eye of the storm, and these countries (Russia, Iran and Turkey) intend to deal with it with open hostility, which must be stressed and warned, and in return, the states The United States will defend only its interests, and not a progressive political project, and it is concerned with taking into account the interests of its ally Turkey more than anything else, as recent experiences have shown this tragically. "
Defeating the AA's project means throwing our country between the fangs of regional predators
The Syrian opposition and political analyst Ghiath Naissa asserted that the defeat of the AA's project will mean breaking the back of the Syrian democratic movement (not all of the Kurdish movement alone) for decades, and throwing our country as a prey between the fangs of regional and international predators, and so, the AA's project remains our only support to face the challenges as they increase Democratic forces are power and effectiveness with a broad convolution around and with him, just as the AA's project needs, in contrast, to face challenges and dangers, to meet and broad joint work with democratic forces, this is the dialectical relationship between them, and the fate of both is linked to the other.
Naissa concluded his speech by saying, "There are great challenges facing us, so it requires a massive mobilization of democratic forces to expand and develop AA to build a new political and social system."
