The lawyers of the Human Rights Office, Ibrahim Bilmaz, Radia Ozturk, Omran Amekci and Cengiz Yurkali, submitted a request to the Republican Public Prosecutor’s Office in Bursa and the High Security Imrali Prison Directorate (F) to meet the leader Abdullah Ocalan, the other detainees Omar Khairi Konar, Hamili Yıldırım and Veysi Aktaş.
The lawyers of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, Rizan Sarija and Newroz Uysal, were able to meet their clients on May 2 and 22, June 12 and 18, and August 7, 2019, and since then, the lawyers have not been able to communicate with the leader Abdullah Ocalan.
