Northern and eastern Syria are subjected to systematic genocide and ethnic cleansing at the hands of the Turkish occupying state, which began since the occupation of Afrin and continues with the occupation of Serekaniy and Girê Spi areas.
To discuss the crimes committed by the Turkish occupation army and mercenaries, the Rojava Center for Strategic Studies will hold a forum on ethnic genocide and demographic change in which to discuss "agendas", "repercussions", and "confrontation strategies" on December 18.
Member of the preparatory committee for the Forum on Ethnic Genocide and Demographic Change, Laila Soar said: The aim of the forum is to discuss all practices of the Turkish occupation army from genocide and demographic change.
Laila explained that the forum, which will last for one day, will address several topics in three sessions.
According to Laila Soar, the first session will focus on the political and historical aspect of ethnic genocide and demographic change, and in the second session the rights aspect will be discussed on ethnic genocide and demographic change, while the third session will focus on solutions and proposals to limit genocide and demographic changes that will be completed, and will end with.
Organized by the Rojava Center for Strategic Studies at the level of northern and eastern Syria, more than 100 figures in the field of ethnic cleansing and demographic change, including politicians and jurists, intellectuals, writers, representatives of civil society institutions, martyrs’ families, the war-wounded, human rights institutions, academics and representatives of the components of northern and eastern Syria.
