Number of PYD’s General Council’s members increase to be 90 members

The Democratic Union Party (PYD) made a decision to increase the number of party members to 90 members, and members of the executive body to 20, during the activities of the eighth conference being held in the town of Rmaylan in Qamishlo district.

The Democratic Union Party continues the activities of its eighth conference, which started in the town of Rmaylan in Qamishlo canton yesterday, Monday, under the slogan "With democratic union, we defeat the occupation, develop the Autonomous Administration, and build a democratic Syria", in the presence of 600 delegates from northern and eastern Syria and Başûr Kurdistan and Europe, with a discussion on the party’s rules of procedure.

The delegates of the eighth conference of the Democratic Union Party decided that the number of members of the party’s General Council would be 90 instead of 49 members, and the members of the executive body be 20 members instead of 13.

The conference continues as the rules of procedure are read and ratified on.
