On Eid al-Fitr occasion, people put flowers on Martyrs' tombs in Aleppo

On Wednesday morning, hundreds of people of al-Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo headed towards the martyrs' shrine and the Martyr Abo Shiyar Square to visit the tombs of their martyrs on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.

On the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, hundreds of the martyrs' families alongside the people and the members of the civil society institutions headed in the morning of the Eid towards the martyrs' cemetery in Beno village in al-Sheqayyef area and the Martyr Abo Shiyar Square to visit the martyrs' tombs.

The people held the pictures of the martyrs and the wreaths of flowers, and distributed the sweets to the visitors of the shrine and the square.

In the cemetery, everybody held a minute of silence. Then, a speech was delivered on behalf of the Martyrs' Families Council by the administrative member Fidan Hussein, in which she congratulate all the Muslims in the world and the martyrs' families on Eid al-Fitr.

Fidan touched upon the violations of the occupation in Afrin, hoping the liberation of Afrin and getting it rid from the occupation.

After that, the people headed towards the Martyr Abo Shiyar Square in al-Sakan al-Shababi area. He was martyred in al-Sheikh Maqsoud in 2016, and his corpse is sill under rubble.

At the square, the mother of the martyr Alan, Ramziya Saleh delivered a poem on her son, and the people put the wreaths of flowers in the site amid the slogans that glorified the martyrs.

While the people exchanged the Eid congratulations.
