Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) is providing medical assistance to Rojava

The PUK has delivered medicines and medical supplies to the representative of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Rojava in Başûr of Kurdistan to deliver them to the people of Rojava.

A high-level delegation from the PUK's leadership visited the headquarters of the AA representative in the Kurdistan Region, including Dr. Soran Jamal Taher, member of the political Bureau, Ikram Ali, an official of the office of Kurdistan relations, and Khaled Khader Abdul, a member of the office of relations.

The delegation was received by members of the administrative committee of the Kurdistan Region's Autonomous Administration representatives, who welcomed the visiting delegation and stressed the need for more political and material relations for the interests and destiny of the Kurdish people in Başûr and Rojava of Kurdistan.

During the visit, the PUK delegation confirmed that they continued their "political and logistical" support for the people of Rojava, particularly in light of the difficult circumstances in the world and the region due to the corona pandemic, and during the visit, they handed over quantities of medicines and logistics to the representative to send them to the people of Rojava.

At the end of the meeting, the two parties held a press conference at the headquarters of the representative, highlighting the content of the meeting and the importance of its continuation, in the interests of the peoples of the region.

"The PUK is ready to send further assistance to Rojava in the coming period," PUK foreign relations official Soran Jamal said at the press conference.

For her part, the co-chair of Rojava representative in Kurdistan, Nurshan Hussein, thanked PUK for providing assistance.
