Phone call between Putin, Erdogan this evening

The Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced on Friday that a phone call is planned for between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan this evening.

Peskov said in press statements: "We confirm to conduct a phone call this evening."

For his part, the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that he will make a phone call to the Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday evening.

Erdogan added that the call will be made at six on Friday evening to discuss all developments in Idlib. He continued: "And we will determine our position based on the outcome of the contact."

Tensions rose between Russia and Turkey against the background of the failure of 3 rounds of talks between the two parties on the situation in Idlib.
