Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena said on Friday that the police are looking for 140 people believed to have links with the Islamic State group.

According to Reuters, Maithripala Sirisena said on Friday police are looking for 140 people believed to have links with the Islamic State group, which has claimed responsibility for the Easter Sunday suicide bombings of churches and hotels.

The president also blamed Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe's government for weakening the intelligence system by focusing on military prosecution in connection with alleged war crimes during the 10-year civil war with the separatists.
