Putin announces registration of a vaccine against coronavirus

Russian President Vladimir Putin announced today, Tuesday, the registration of the first vaccine against the coronavirus in the world.

The Russian President said during a meeting with members of the government, through a "video conference" technology: "I have been informed that a vaccine against the coronavirus has been registered this morning for the first time in the world."

Putin added, while asking the Russian Minister of Health, Mikhail Murashko, to provide details about the vaccine: "I know that it (the vaccine) works very effectively and constitutes stable immunity, and I repeat that it has passed all the necessary tests."
