Northeast areas of Syria are clebrating tomorrow the 8th anniversary of the July 19 Revolution, which sparked in Kobani. On this occasion, the PYD held several meetings in the city of Kobani.
At the meeting held in the neighborhood of the martyr Firas, Muhammad Shahin, the Co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration in the Euphrates region, said that "Our resistance stopped terrorism in the region more than any external support."
Shahin added: "We are accused of terrorism, everyone knows who supports terrorism and terrorists, and hit against the wall all diplomatic solutions."
For his part, Ocalan Esau, the Co-chair of the Local Administration and Environment Authority in the Euphrates region, said in a similar meeting in the martyr Moro neighborhood: "The Turkish occupation targets the people of the region and wants to recruit them into intelligence missions that serve Turkish interests and strike social cohesion in the region."
Several meetings were held simultaneously during the evening in different places in the city as well as preparing for tomorrow's celebrations.
