On Friday dawn, a reconnaissance plane belonging to the Turkish occupation army targeted the house where leader Abdullah Ocalan stayed in the village of Albalur, west of Kobane city in 1979, while crossing from Northern Kurdistan to Rojava, known as the "leader's house," amid its continuing attacks on the areas of north and east Syria since its occupation of Afrin and the cities of Serekaniye and Gire Spi in 2019.
Meanwhile, the Leader Abdullah Ocalan's Freedom Committee considered the targeting as an attack on values and international law, stressing that it stems from a chauvinistic mentality.
Qamishlo people condemned this crime, stressing that the Turkish occupation knows that the assets of the house are linked to the memories of the leader Abdullah Ocalan.
"Are the occupier's practices compatible with international laws so they were met with silence"
The citizen Hajj Hassen Mahmoud described the illegal attacks and threats of the Turkish occupation on the areas of north and east Syria, and said: "What the Turkish occupation commits within our areas is contrary to all international laws. It practices persecution against us."
Stressing that the tax of Turkey's attacks is paid by the people of north and east Syria, saying: "Most of the inhabitants of the occupied territories have been displaced from their homes, and are facing both displacement and poverty suffering," and he wondered, "Are these practices in compliance with international laws so that those countries became silent?"
Mahmoud called on the people of north and east Syria to unify their ranks, "We have to remain one hand to be able to unite our forces in facing the occupier."
"We are not isolated from the leader and his thought"
While the citizen Masoum Omer stated that the recent move of the Turkish occupation in the village of Albalur, west of Kobane city, and its targeting of the house in which the leader stayed is nothing but an attempt to erase the memory, and he said: "The Turkish occupation knows that the assets of the house are linked to the memories of the leader Abdullah Ocalan."
Stressing that "the people's positions supporting the thought of the leader Abdullah Ocalan foil the occupation's plans and show him that the people are not isolated from the leader and his thought."
Omer explained that the goal of the Turkish occupation in launching its attacks on north and east Syria is nothing but an endeavor to restore the Ottoman caliphate and implement its occupational plans, and said: "This matter has been known since ancient times, as the massacres that Turkey committed against Armenians, Syriacs and Kurds, and their displacement of thousands of Kurdish villages in Northern Kurdistan is the best proof of this, "describing Turkey's policy as immoral.
"With unity and the leader's philosophy, we will defeat the occupation"
Omer stressed that uniting the ranks of the people of the region is the only way to get rid of the occupation and find a solution to the Kurdish issue.
For his part, Alaa Al-Din Al-Husseini noted that the threats and attacks of the Turkish occupation on north and east Syria are nothing but an effort to strike the project that the Autonomous Administration has achieved with the thought and philosophy of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and went on saying: "The Turkish occupation considers this project a threat to it, after it was publicized in the world countries."
Al-Husseini added: "The people of the region consider that house as the sun that spreads the thought of the leader, and the heinous act committed by Turkey will not destroy their hopes."
Al-Husseini affirmed that the people of north and east Syria, with their faith, strength and the thought, philosophy of leader Ocalan, will be able to defeat the occupier. He said: "The thought and philosophy of leader Ocalan is an international thought that does not seek ways of freedom for the Kurds only, but for all oppressed peoples."
