As part of a series of precautionary and preventive measures to prevent and respond to Coronavirus infection, the Health Council in the neighborhoods of Sheikh Maksoud and Ashrafieh in the city of Aleppo has equipped a quarantine center, where suspected cases are to be examined within it.
Those working in the quarantine center follow the standards of the World Health Organization, where the suspect is sterilized first, then he is admitted to the ambulance department to diagnose his condition, and perform the necessary examination for him, to confirm his condition, whether positive or negative.
The quarantine center consists of 7 rooms, including 25 beds, equipped with first aid tools and medical supplies and devices, such as oxygen, respirators and ECG. Also, 6 nurses and 4 doctors were assigned from the Interior and Chest Controls to the shift in the center.
The co-chair of the Health Council in Sheikh Maqsoud, Aleppo, Leila Hassan explained: "We strive to take our precautions to the fullest, and we hope that we will not encounter this virus in our regions."
A special emergency number
For his part, the co-chair of the Health Council, Dr. Nashat Zebar, indicated that they assigned a special number for emergencies (0934998835), and they prepared leaflets with the instructions issued by the general council and the Health Council, and they are distributed to the people inside the bread ties.
Nashat Zebar called on the people to cooperate with each other, and with the Health Council to overcome this ordeal, by abiding by the decisions issued to protect them and prevent the emergence of the Corona virus.
