“Recent Turkish attacks are a continuation of plots against Kurdish people”

Hundreds of Amouda people denounced the Turkish attacks on the regions of Kurdistan, and indicated that the recent Turkish attacks are a continuation of the plots being set against the Kurdish people and the leader Abdullah Ocalan.

Since the dawn of June 16, the Turkish occupation army has launched attacks against the legitimate defense right in southern Kurdistan, and in order to condemn these attacks, hundreds of people from the Amouda district of Qamishlo canton came out at the invitation of the Families of the Martyrs Foundation in a demonstration.

The demonstration was launched in front of the Foundation of Martyrs’ Families in the district, and headed towards the Martyr Jihad Square in the middle of the district, and the demonstrators carried pictures of the martyrs who were martyred after the Turkish attacks on Kurdistan, and the flags of the Families of the Martyrs, banners that read "No to the international silence towards the genocide committed by the Turkish fascist against the Kurdish people."

The demonstrators expressed their rejection of the Turkish attacks on the legitimate right of defense in southern Kurdistan, through the slogans "No to the Turkish occupation" and "Yes to the resistance in the face of Turkish aggression."

Upon the arrival of the demonstrators to the square of the martyr Jihad Khattab, a member of the Families of the Martyrs Foundation Hassan Obaid delivered a speech: "The recent Turkish attacks on Makhmour and Şengal camp are a continuation of the plots against the Kurdish people and the leader Abdullah Ocalan."

Hassan Obaid indicated that the Turkish occupation state and through its recent attacks on the areas of legitimate defense and its continuous attacks on the people of northern and eastern Syria aim to break the will of the Kurdish people and the peoples of Kurdistan, and said: "These crimes will not affect the will of our people, who during the Rojava Revolution demonstrated their will and strength ".
