Regime forces advance in Idlib countryside with Russian air support

Syrian regime forces, backed by Russian planes, are advancing along lines of contact with Turkey's mercenary gangs in the southeastern countryside of Idlib.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, “Russian” warplanes targeted the village of Mushairfeh in the southeastern countryside of Idlib with more than 15 airstrikes since midnight on Wednesday-Thursday until the moment, in addition to air strikes targeting Maarat Harmah and the outskirts of Hazaren in the southern countryside of Idlib.

The shelling coincided with fierce clashes since midnight until this morning between the mercenary gangs on the one hand and the regime forces on the other, on the axis of Ijaz, Musharrafa and Weibdeh in the southeastern countryside of Idlib.

During these clashes, the regime forces managed to take control of the village of al-Weibbeh on the seam lines, coinciding with intensive rocket shelling in the villages of al-Zarzour, al-Farajah, Umm al-Khalakhel and al-Halba in the southeastern countryside of Idlib.

The Russian Agency Sputnik talked yesterday evening, the Syrian regime began a military operation on the south-eastern axis of the province of Idlib, which is controlled by the mercenaries of Turkey from Jabhat al-Nusra.
