Regime forces advance towards Ma’aret al-Numan amid intense bombing

The regime forces managed to achieve a progress in Idlib countryside, as they have been on the outskirts of Ma’aret al-Numan amid continued intensive bombardment on the region. 

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the clashes continue at a violent pace on several axes in Idlib eastern and southeastern countryside, and other axes in the western countryside of Aleppo between the regime forces on one side and the mercenary gangs of Turkey on the other side.

The regime forces made new progress by controlling Tel Khatra, Abo Jarif, Tel Mosteif east of Saraqeb and south of Ma’aret al-Numan.

While the regime forces managed to block the road known as Souk al-Ghanam (Livestock Market) or al-Deir Road which connects Ma’aret al-Numan to the eastern countryside, while the regime forces monitored the eastern part of the city and other neighborhoods of it after the progress achieved in the area and reaching nearly 2 km of it, and that after taking control of Ma'arshmarin, al-Deir al-Sharqi, al-Deir al-Gharbi and other sites there.

The aerial bombardment continues with a violent pace through dozens of air strikes, as Russian warplanes targeted places in al-Ais, the vicinity of al-Kemari, al-Zerbe and Kafar Hamra in Aleppo countryside, Ma’aret al-Numan and its countryside, Khan al-Sebul, and other areas east of Idlib.

The regime's helicopters launched explosive barrels on Khelsa, al-Humeira, al-Qarasi, Barnah, Zeitan, and Khan Toman in the southern countryside of Aleppo, Kafar Battikh in Saraqeb countryside, and Ma’aret al-Numan and its countryside. In addition, the regime warplanes  targeted each of al-Ais and al-Kemari in Aleppo southern countryside, Ma’aret al-Numan, its villages and towns in its eastern countryside, in addition to the fighting axes in Idlib eastern countryside and Aleppo western countryside.

The attacks of the regime forces have come today after talking about a meeting between a delegation of Turkish intelligence and the mercenary leaders in the Turkish capital, Ankara, in which Turkey asked the mercenaries to stand up against the attacks of the regime forces backed by Russian aviation.
