Regime on Ma’aret al-Numan, international road outskirts

The regime media outlets stated that the regime forces achieved a new advance in Idlib countryside on Saturday evening, and they have become on the outskirts of Ma’aret al-Numan and the international road.

SANA agency affiliated with the regime stated that units of the army have taken control of the towns and villages of Ma’arshamareen, Taqana and Telmans in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, and cleared them of the last hotbeds of terrorism there, making new progress towards Ma’aret al-Numan city after inflicting the terrorists with losses of members and equipment.

In turn, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that violent clashes are ongoing this evening between the regime forces on one side and the mercenary gangs affiliated with Turkey on the other hand on the axes of the southeastern countryside of Ma’aret al-Numan as part of the regime forces’ attempt to dominate new areas, reach Ma’aret al-Numan city and impose its control on Aleppo - Damascus international road.

The Observatory said, "The regime forces are trying to advance towards Telmans town from Jerjanaz axis in the east and Ma'archorin axis in the south, as less than 3 km remained to reach Ma’aret al-Numan city and the international road."

The regime's warplanes and helicopters continue to target the towns of Idlib and Aleppo countryside, and Russian warplanes have bombed al-Ghadafa town and its surroundings in the eastern countryside of Idlib.
