Remembrance of 100 martyrs of the month of August in Qamishlo

Today, the people of Qamishlo city commemorated 100 martyrs of August civilians and martyrs who were martyred in different places and years in Rojava and northern Syria, and on the mountains of Kurdistan, during a ceremony held at the martyr Dalil Sarokhan shrine.

The Martyrs' Families Council in the city of Qamishloi organized a commemoration ceremony, the martyrs' comrades, members of civic institutions, political parties and families, participated in the martyr Dalil Sarokhan's shrine, to commemorate 100 martyrs of Kurdistan Freedom Movement activists, YPG and security forces. The internal movement and the democratic society movement, who were martyred in different places and times during their revolutionary struggle in Kurdistan and during the revolution of Rojava and northern and eastern Syria.

At the shrine, a member of the Council of Martyrs 'Families and the father of the martyr Jan Welat condoled the martyrs' families. "We bow before the souls of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to live in security, peace and dignity," he said.

"There are daily threats to the gains of our martyrs. This intimidation and threat no longer frighten us because we rely on our forces, which have become a significant force in the region, including tens of thousands of fighters on the path of their fellow martyrs."

After completing the speeches, the member of the Council of Martyrs' Families, Reven Shikmos, read the names of the martyrs and the dates of their martyrdom.
