The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that the Russian warplanes carried out several air strikes targeting the area of the "Turkish Forces" gathering stationed in al-Mastumah camp, south of Idlib.
The “Syrian Observatory” also monitored huge reinforcements of the regime forces represented by dozens of infantry elements and heavy machineries on the Kafr Sijnah axis in Jabal al-Zawiya in the south of Idlib. Russian aircraft also launched new air strikes on separate areas of Jabal al-Zawiya and Jabal Al-Arbaeen, south of Idlib, in addition to continuous missile strikes with dozens of missiles that affect the areas of Jabal Zawiya.
This was preceded by the entry of a military convoy of "Turkish forces" from the Khirbet al-Jouz border crossing with an Alexandron of 10 vehicles that headed towards the so-called Turkish observation post stationed in the town of Ishtarbak in the western countryside of Idlib.
These developments come after the failure of the Russian-Turkish efforts to reach an understanding on the escalation in Idlib, and with the end of this month, the deadline set by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the Syrian regime ends.
