Russia: ready to provide support for Armenia

Today, Russia hinted at direct intervention in the Karabakh conflict, as the Russian Foreign Ministry announced that it was its country.

The ministry added that Russia will provide Yerevan with all necessary assistance in the event of direct confrontations on the territory of Armenia.

Russia's announcement came after Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan asked President Vladimir Putin to start urgent consultations on the aid that Moscow could provide to Yerevan to ensure its security.

So far, 3 ceasefire agreements have failed in Karabakh, due to Turkish support for Azerbaijan.
