Russian agency: Turkey provided terrorists with TOW, Cornet missiles

Turkey has supplied terrorists in northwestern Syria with TOW and Cornet missiles and confirmed the targeting of a Sukhoi jet but the pilot was able to avoid the missile, the Russian news agency Sputnik reported.

Sputnik agency correspondent in Syria that the terrorists Idlib targeted a Sukhoi plane with a missile provided by Turkey.

"Turkey's support for armed groups is taking a new direction in recent times and is characterized by qualitative weaponry, such as the TOW and Cornet missiles, as well as anti-aircraft guns," the agency's correspondent said.

The agency confirmed that "days ago Haiet Tahrir al-Sham terrorist targeted Sukhoi over the atmosphere of the countryside of Hama, but because of the skill of the pilot, he managed to avoid the missile without harm to him or the plane and landing safely.
