Russian jets raid ISIS in Syrian Desert

Russian fighter jets have carried out at least 40 aerial raids on ISIS held posts in the Aleppo-Hama-Raqqa triangle in an operation to secure the Deir Ezzor –Homs road.

From mid night Sunday up to date, Russian fighter jets proceed carrying out hovering in the Syrian Desert where at least 40 air raids were carried out against ISIS held posts in the Aleppo-Hama-Raqqa triangle,  as information on human losses were unavailable as the report was sent. 

In a relevant context, vast combing operation is being carried out by the Syrian Government Forces and those of the Legion Five and the Qudis Brigade affiliated to the Russian Forces in the Desert between Deir Ezzor and Homs, in a bid to secure the road linking the two cities.

On Saturday, it was reported by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the SOHR, that joint forces of the Legion Five3 and the Qudis Brigade affiliated to the Russian Forces as well as the National Defence Forces commenced a new security campaign in the Syrian Desert to secure the road that links Homs and Deir Ezzor after attacks by ISIS mercenary groups increased lately.
