Saudi Arabia is concerned about Turkey sending large numbers of mercenaries to Libya

The Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, affirmed that his country expressed its concern that Turkey sent large numbers of mercenaries to Libya.

The Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, said in press statements that the Kingdom will continue to support political efforts to resolve the crisis in Libya.

The Saudi minister denounced the Turkish interference in the Libyan state, saying: "We expressed our concern that Turkey sent large numbers of mercenaries to Libya."

Libyan army commander, Khalifa Hafter, said today: "The European Union must play its role in controlling the flow of weapons and Syrian and Turkish mercenaries who are being transported to Tripoli via Turkey, and we support the presence of European European sea patrols that prevent Turkey from continuing to transfer arms and mercenaries to Tripoli."
