​​​​​​​SDF: ISIS sleeper cells became active with the start Turkish attacks on area

​​​​​​​SDF revealed the outcome of the combat operations for the 60th day of Dignity Resistance, and during a statement, the forces confirmed that ISIS sleeper cells had become active with the start of the Turkish offensive in the area.

The Syrian Democratic Forces today issued a statement to the public opinion regarding the outcome of the combat operations for the 60th day of Dignity Resistance against the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries.

The text of the statement read:

"The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries continue during the 60th day of their attacks in the region.

Abu Rasin

The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries targeted the village of Umm al-Shafa’ah with heavy weapons, and the residential areas were severely damaged. The shelling continued for hours, amidst an intense flight of the drones hovering over the sky of the area.

Tell Tamr

Mercenary gangs affiliated with the Turkish occupation attacked Umm al-Keif village and targeted civilians there in an attempt to expand the scope of their occupation, while the mercenaries used sniper weapons in their attack.

 

In Deir-ez-Zor, 4 civilians were killed as a result of an explosion carried out by ISIS sleeper cells, which were active with the start of the Turkish occupation’s attacks on the areas of northern and eastern Syria and intensified their attacks on civilians in the area.
