SDF: Turkish occupation, mercenaries aim to expand occupation by continuing attacks

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) noted that the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries are continuing their attacks in the areas north and east of Syria, in a statement in which they revealed the outcome of the military operations during the past four days.

The media center of the Syrian Democratic Forces today issued a written statement in which it revealed the outcome of the military operations in the north and east of Syria during the past four days "9, 10, 11, 12" of this January.

The text of the statement read:

“The Turkish invasion army and its mercenaries, with the aim of expanding the occupation area, continues with its exploratory tours and air attacks. The events were as follows:

Ain Issa

On January 9, drones bombed the Ain Issa checkpoint and caused a civil wound and a member of the Internal Security Forces. On the same day, the Turkish invasion army bombed Hushan village and the international road M4 with heavy weapons and missiles, causing material damage to the property of civilians.

Girê Spi/ Tel Abyad

On January 10 and 11, the Turkish invasion army bombed the villages of Arida, Shorba and Qazali with rockets and mortars, causing material damage to the property of civilians.

Tirbe Spiye

On January 12 at 13:00, a center of the Civilian Internal Security Organization was targeted by the invading Turkish army. In conclusion, two members of the Internal Security Forces rose to rank of martyrdom, and a number of other civilians were wounded. The invading Turkish state, since the cease-fire was declared, and continues to this day, continues with its violations and occupation movements in all forms.
