The Media Office of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), released a statement on their official website regarding a series of operations carried out by their forces against the Turkish occupation army.
In their statement, the SDF stated that: “The attacks by the Turkish occupation army against the territory of North and East Syria have recently increased. The occupation army are carrying out daily artillery attacks and in recent times, they have also increased their attacks with UAV`s. In those attacks, precious people, both civilians and from the military forces, were martyred. Only since the beginning of August, 7 citizens, including 2 chilren were martyred and 17 citizens, including 10 children and 3 women were injured.”
The SDF continued their statement regarding the series of operations carried out by their forces against the Turkish occupation army by sharing the following information:
“To avenge our martyrs, our forces carried out 3 effective actions against on August 8, 2022, on the border to Mardin city in the framework of legitimate self defense.
In the first action, an amored vehicle of the Turkish occupation army was targeted. 7 Turkish occupation soldiers were killed as a result of this action and a further 2 soldiers were also injured. The armored vehicle was destroyed.
In the second action, a tank of the Turkish occupation army was targeted. 10 Turkish occupation soldiers were killed as a result of this action. The mentioned vehicle was destroyed.
In the third action, another tank of the Turkish occupation army was targeted. 6 soldiers of the Turkish occupation army were killed and the vehicle was destroyed.
A total of 23 soliders of the Turkish occupation army were killed in the course of the three actions, and at least 2 soldiers were also injured.”
The SDF also promised that no attacks against their people will go by unanswered.
