Security Council to hold emergency session on Idlib

At the request of Belgium, Germany and Kuwait, the UN Security Council will hold an emergency session next Friday to discuss the situation in the Syrian Idlib region.

The sources pointed out that the meeting will be held at the request of Belgium, Germany and Kuwait, and is scheduled to focus on discussing the escalation in the Idlib region of northwestern Syria and the humanitarian situation in these territories.

In the framework of the Astana Platform between Russia, Turkey and Iran, which has been witnessing for weeks the bombing and fierce battles between the forces of the Syrian regime supported by Russian aviation, mercenaries groups belonging to Turkey.
