The Media Center of the Internal Security Forces in Manbij city and its countryside published a statement revealing the details of the operation carried out by the Security Forces today.
The center said that "after the Internal Security Forces receiving a report from a civilian today bout the presence of suspicious objects near the Martyrs Roundabout, south of Manbij, the Internal Security Forces and the Mine Engineering Teams went to the aforementioned place and imposed a security cordon in order to preserve the civilians' safety."
It added: "The Mine Engineering Teams examined the place, and it was found that there were 3 mines prepared for remote detonation, and successfully dismantled and de-activated them."
The Internal Security Forces urged the residents to report them about any suspicious objects immediately.
It is worth mentioning that several parties are trying to destabilize the security and stability of Manbij city by detonating explosive devices or landmines in public places and on the main roads, regardless of the great danger that such operations pose to the lives of civilians.
The last detonation of the explosive devices took place last Monday, October 26 near the Martyrs Roundabout, south of Manbij, and did not result in any significant damage.
Furthermore, no party adopts these operations, but Turkey and its mercenaries in the occupied Syrian areas are accused of them, as the confessions of cells recruited by Turkey revealed a constant Turkish endeavor to conduct terrorist operations that undermine the security of the region; bombings or assassinations of tribal leaders in the city of Manbij and its countryside.
