Semalka Crossing.. Preventive measures against Corona

The administration of the Semalka Border Crossing called on all citizens residing in Europe not to travel to the northern and eastern regions of Syria, in a preventive step with the spread of Corona virus in a large number of countries in the world.

The administration of the crossing between Dêrik region in northern and eastern Syria and Başûr (southern Kurdistan) said in a statement, "After the spread of the Corona virus and to preserve the safety of citizens in northern and eastern Syria, and according to a decision by the Health Authority and as a preventive step, we hope that all laws residing in Europe and journalists not to travel at present to the north and east of Syria until further notice."

All crossings in northern and eastern Syria are subject to strict medical procedures, including examination of those coming from outside the region, and no new cases of HIV infection were recorded in the regions of northern and eastern Syria.
