Warplanes and drones of the Turkish occupation army continue to launch attacks on Şengal district, and today a house near the "Hassan Mama" shrine in Şengal center was bombed by UAVs, which resulted in material damage.
Commenting on the attack, the Media Center of the Şengal Resistance Units (YBŞ) issued a statement to the public.
The statement read:
On 1-6- 2023 at 14:30, a "SÎHA" UAV belonging to the Turkish occupation army carried out an attack on a house near the "Hassan Mama" shrine in the center of Şengal. The attack caused only material damage.
The Turkish annihilation state has long increased its air movements. As it attacked, through UAVs, our guesthouse a week ago from now, it targeted today with the same method, by launching an air attack, a house near the dome of "Hassan Mama". After the elections in Northern Kurdistan and Turkey, the fascist agreement of the Justice and Development Party and the National Movement is trying to compromise the security of Şengal once again. Especially in recent times, the Turkish occupation is trying to obstruct the return of our people from the camps and strike the security of the region by launching air strikes. It is clear that for these purposes, the Turkish genocidal state continues its dirty plans in the region.
basing on this; Our people must stand against all enemy attacks, confront them, and not allow the occupation to take control of this holy land. Our people must also protect Şengal and resist these attacks."
