SOHR: Government forces preparing to storm Kanafer town in western Ghouta

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that the Syrian government forces imposed a security cordon on the town of Kanaker in the western Ghouta of Damascus, in preparation for storming it.

The Syrian Observatory said that the Syrian government forces imposed a complete security cordon on the town of Kanaker in western Ghouta in the countryside of the capital, Damascus, where they prevented exit and entry from the town since the early morning hours of the day, after they were allowing a group of citizens to enter and exit.

The government forces have fully mobilized their forces, threatening to invade the town in the coming hours, in the event that the wanted persons are not handed over to make a new settlement, amid fears among the people of massacres and arbitrary arrests in the event of the town being invaded, according to the Syrian Observatory.
