The demonstrations in Sudan continue to protest against the Sudanese government raising prices. Students from Ahfad University in Omdurman went out in solidarity with the students of the University of Medical and Technological Sciences in Khartoum after the security forces stormed the university campus on Sunday evening and attacked the students by beating and firing tear gas, Sky News reported.
The university staff and teachers announced in a statement, strike on the practice of any educational activity and the closure of the university until the stability of the security situation in the country.
The medical and technological sciences and its professors, the university administration owned by former health minister Mamoun Hamida, demanded that the "Sunday events" be investigated and demanded the immediate release of all students.
The demonstrations began on the 19th of December and then turned these demonstrations to protests.
