Syrian child Turkey recruited killed in Tripoli

A Syrian child who was sent by Turkey to fight alongside the Libyan government of Accord was killed while participating in the fighting in the capital, Tripoli.

Al Arabiya Network, quoting media outlets, said that the Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, took advantage of the poverty of the Syrian child's family, "Ibrahim Raya" and sent him to fight among the ranks of his Syrian mercenaries in Libya.

A new batch of Syrian mercenaries has arrived in Libyan territory to participate in military operations alongside Accord Government, which, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, reported on May 19, hundreds of Syrian mercenaries supported by Turkey.

The number of mercenaries who have arrived in Libya so far is about 9,600 Syrian mercenaries, while the number of mercenaries who have arrived in Turkish camps to receive training is approximately 3,300 mercenaries.

Of note, there are about 180 children between the ages of 16 and 18, the majority of whom are mercenaries affiliated to "Sultan Murad", who were recruited to fight in Libya through a process of material temptation to fully exploit the difficult living situation and poverty situations.

As a result of the clashes that are being waged in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, the Syrian child, "Ibrahim Raya", was killed, and there was no more information about his death or from what Syrian city he descended.

Turkey continues to transfer Syrian mercenaries to Libya despite the condemnations issued by several countries, and despite the signing of an international agreement to non-interference in Libyan affairs in Berlin at the beginning of this year.
