Syrian families leave the al-Hol Camp

In compliance with the decision taken by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, the 8th batch, made up of 31 Syrian IDP families willing to leave the al-Hol Camp to their homes was carried out by the camp's administration

These batches are carried out after the Guarantee System came to an end, and in compliance with the decision taken by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria on October 10th, 2020, based on the meeting held on October 5th, 2020, with the presence of Syria's Democratic Council, the SDC, Body of the Internal and Social Affairs and that of Interior.

After all willing to leave the camp were enrolled, and all given documents verified by the camp's management, the 8th batch, 31 families made up of 99 persons, mostly women and children of the Jazira Canton,  left the camp today.

Hemrine Hesen, administrator in the camp, said :'' the new batch leaves as their given documents being verified, and their destination confirmed, and that the belong to the area to which they are going''.

Hemrine Hesen added that new names are being enrolled, without giving any numbers or dates for that,

As usual, Internal Security Forces accompany the cars on board IDPs until they reach destination, for security measures.

Worth to note that the last of these batches was carried out on December 10th, 2020.
