Syrian fighter downed in Idlib, pilot captured by mercenaries-UPDATED

A source said that the Turkish mercenary groups shot down a Syrian fighter aircraft in the skies of Idlib province.

According to a source inside Idlib, the mercenary groups shot down a Syrian "Sukhoi 22" fighter-bomber in the skies of Idlib province in northern Syria, in the town of Al-Tamana.

The source added that the aircraft crashed in areas controlled by the Turkish mercenaries and that the mercenaries of Jaish al-Izza captured the pilot. The source sent a photo saying it is the fighter as it was downed.

It is noteworthy that the regime forces made surprising progress in their battles with mercenary groups belonging to Turkey, and is now 4 km from the strategic city of Khan Sheikhoun.
